Aqui deixo la crònica que fa l´alumne i amic Ismael Valverde,( Aikido Makoto, grup d´Aikido Vilanova )  sobre la seva pràctica de l´Aikido a Bangkok, al dojo d´Erik Sheridan, el Nishio Keikokai dojo ( grup de pràctica de l´estil Nishio) ( gran mestre de referència mundial que té articles pubicats en aquest mateix blog ) .És quelcom magnífic, poder veure com els lligams i l´amor de l´Aikido són presents a qualsevol part del món, concretament a Bangkok en aquest cas, on van rebre l´Ismael com un amic i van compartir la pràctica. El grup d´Erik Sheridan té, a casa nostra, casa seva també, arigato gozaimashita Erik san!

Here there´s a few words about the wonderful experience that  Ismael Valverde ( Aikido makoto student, from Aikido Vilanova  ) has been taken about his practique in Bangkok, with Erik Sheridan sensei, at the Nishio Keikokai dojo. I think is amazing the way how Aikido does not understand about countries, lands, or styles, and there´s one perfect example of how Erik and his people, receive kindly Ismael, and enjoy and learn together. Lot of love. Thanks a lot, and if you come to Barcelona, Spain, you have a place here! arigato gozaimashita Erik san!

Estudiant de l´Aikido Vialanova  s´uneix per un dia amb l´Erik Sheridan,  Pat i Jimmy al Nishio Keikokai Dojo a Bangkok per una classe d'introducció a l´Aikido segons Nishio.

El Nishio-ryu Aikido Keikokai de Bangkok és un grup de pràctica enfocant a l´Aikido desenvolupat pel tardà Shoji Nishio Sensei.  Aquest estil difereix lleugerament de l´estil  Aikikai bàsicament en:

·         La seva marcialitat. Alguns principis bàsics són que Tori sempre ha d´estar un  pas per davant del seu adversari i els atemis (cops) són bàsics per quedar en una posició segura mentre es control·la l´adversari

·         El principi de Irimi; En Nishio Budo, el treball de peus per
entendre Irimi (entrada) és un aspecte clau per Tori estra sempre en
una posició segura.

·         Iaido - Toho Iai. Un conjunt de 15 katas per il·lustrar la correlació
entre les formes d'espasa i els principis subjacents de les 
tècniques d´ aikido. Qualsevol tècnica de mà buida s´ha de poder fer també amb
el bokken i el jo.

Nishio-ryu Aikido Keikokai De Bangkok és un grup d'estudiants seniors de  Takao Arisue Sensei i Nakamichi Sensei a Tòquio.

Aikido Vilanova student joined Erik Sheridan, Cash, Pat and Jimmy at the Nishio Keikokai Dojo at Bangkok for an introduction class to Nishio Aikido Style.

Nishio-ryu Aikido Keikokai of Bangkok is a practice group focusing on
Aikido as developed by the late Shoji Nishio Sensei. This aikido style
differs slightly from Aikikai style mainly in:

·         Its Martiality. Some basic principles are that Tori should always
be  half a step ahead of his opponent and atemi (strikes) are a basic
tools to remain in safe position while controlling  opponent.

·         The Irimi principle; In Nishio Budo, the precise footwork to
understand Irimi (entering) is a key aspect for Tori being in a
position of safety.

·         Iaido - Toho Iai. A set of 15 katas, to illustrate the correlation
between the sword forms and the principles underlying aikido
techniques.  Any Aikido empty hand technique is to be done also with
the bokken and the jo.
Nishio-ryu Aikido Keikokai of Bangkok is a group of long term students of  Takao Arisue Sensei and Nakamichi Sensei of Tokyo. Attached herein some pictures illustrating this practice class held on Bangkok 30th Augut 2016 and also some videos showing Gyaku-Hammi
